– DAZN has announced the broadcast team for all upcoming boxing shows shown on the streaming service for the United States. Brian Kenny and Sugar Ray Leonard will be the play-by-play commentator and color commentator, respectively. Kay Adams and Chris Mannix will handle hosting duties and LZ Granderson will be the ringside reporter. Their first card together will be the September 22 Matchroom Boxing card from Wembley Stadium, headlined by Anthony Joshua vs. Alexander Povetkin for the unified WBA “super,” WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight titles.
– Back in July, there was a fight on ShoBox: The Next Generation between Thomas Mattice and Zhora Hamazaryan that ended with Mattice winning a split decision that ended up being one of the most controversial scorecards of the year. Showtime released the video of the full fight, which can be seen at the top of the page. The two will have a rematch on the September 28 ShoBox card.
– IBF super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer posted a video of his training which can be seen below. Farmer defends his title against James Tennysson on October 20 in Boston.
– According to a report from Boxing Scene, promoter Eddie Hearn said there will be a boxing card in Monaco on November 24 and will feature a British fighter in a world title fight.
