Fight-size Boxing Update: Barrett vs. Woodstock, Vladimir Shishkin, Raymundo Beltran, WBSS Workouts

Your fight-size boxing update:

– Another title bout has been added to the undercard of the Josh Warrington vs. Kid Galahad IBF featherweight title on June 15 in Leeds. Zelfa Barrett and Lyon Woodstock will face off in a Commonwealth super featherweight title bout. The card will be streamed in the United States on ESPN+.

– Salita Promotions has signed Russian super middleweight contender Vladimir Shishkin (8-0, 5 KO) to a promotional contract. Shishkin, ranked No. 10 by the WBC, No. 15 by the WBA and No. 11 by the IBF, will make his U.S. Debut in summer. The 27-year-old Shishkin is coming off a 10th-round stoppage win over Nadjib Mohammedi to retain the WBA Continental title back in October.

– Although it has not been announced, Raymundo Beltran is reportedly going back to lightweight to challenge for Richard Commey’s IBF world title in June. Another report from ESPN states that Beltran will be trained by Freddie Roach. 

– In anticipation for their World Boxing Super Series fights on May 18 in Glasgow, Scotland, Ivan Baranchyk, Josh Taylor, Naoya Inoue and Emmanuel Rodriguez took part in media workouts and you can see highlights of those workouts in the tweets below.

– Alantez Fox will face Nick Brinson in an eight-round super middleweight fight this Saturday night on May 18 at The Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
