Fight-size Boxing Update: Anthony Yarde Gets New Opponent, DeGale vs. Eubank, Garcia vs. Haney, Kenichi Ogawa

– Anthony Yarde will now face Travis Reeves on a February 23 card in Leicester, England. Yarde was originally supposed to face former interim title challenger Mehdi Amar, but Amar withdrew from the bout due to injury.

– Rising contenders Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney had a brief exchange on social media that resulted in the two of them taking a picture doing a face-off, challenging each other to a fight.
– Kenichi Ogawa returned to action this past weekend for the first time since December 2017. Ogawa defeated Roldan Aldea by unanimous decision (99-92, 98-92, 97-93) on a boxing card at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Ogawa last fought in the United States, initially beating Tevin Farmer for the vacant IBF super featherweight title, but Ogawa was stripped of the title and the fight result was overturned to a no contest after it was revealed he failed a drug test.
– MTK Global has announced signing of Joe Draper and will make his pro debut at a date to be revealed later.
