Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford Undisputed Welterweight Title Fight Targeted For November
One of the biggest fights in boxing may finally come to fruition this year.
ESPN’s Mike Coppinger was the first to report the news that undefeated welterweight champions, Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford have verbally agreed to an undisputed title clash on November 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada, although nothing has been officially confirmed yet regarding the bout by either fighter or their reps. Spence Jr. is the reigning WBA, WBC, and IBF welterweight champ, sitting at 28-0 as a pro currently, and is coming off of a tenth-round TKO victory over former WBA champion, Yordenis Ugás back in April. Crawford meanwhile has been the WBO welterweight champion since June 2018 and is 38-0 as a pro. He defeated former two-time welterweight champ, Shawn Porter, via a tenth-round TKO last November in his most recent outing.
