Errol Spence Jr. Injures Eye, Out Of Manny Pacquaio Bout, Yordenis Ugas Steps In
One of the most anticipated boxing bouts of the year is no more.
According to ESPN’s Dan Rafael, Errol Spence Jr. (27-0) has been pulled from next weekend’s main event against Manny Pacquaio due to a torn retina in his left eye.

Subsequently, Yordenis Ugas (26-4) will now face the 42-year old Pacquaio (62-7-2).
Ugas, 35 was originally slated to defend his welterweight championship on the undercard of the event against Fabian Medina (18-1), who has yet to have a replacement opponent named.
