Top Rank’s latest ESPN card drew the second-lowest viewership for an entire broadcast this year.
The August 17 Top Rank on ESPN card from the Banc of California Stadium averaged 471,000 viewers (162,000 in the 18-49 demo) and drew a 0.32 rating. In the main event, Emanuel Navarrete quickly dispatched of Francisco De Vaca in three rounds to retain the WBO super bantamweight title.

That broadcast averaged just 469,000 viewers. The viewership for the August 17 card is also down from Top Rank’s last ESPN broadcast on July 13, which averaged 530,000 viewers.
In the co-main event of the August 17 show, Jessie Magdaleno defeated Rafael Rivera by technical unanimous decision with nine rounds scored.
ESPN’s next Top Rank broadcast will take place on August 24 when Sergey Kovalev defends his WBO light heavyweight title against Anthony Yarde in Russia in the main event of an ESPN+ card. Fightful will have live coverage of that card. As for the next Top Rank event televised on ESPN, the only one that is announced is a light heavyweight title unification between IBF champion Artur Beterbiev and WBC champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk taking place in Philadelphia on October 18.
