Dana White & Colby Covington Go To The White House To Meet Donald Trump
UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington promised to bring the title to the White House after winning it by defeating former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 225.
Even though he could soon be stripped of that gold, an overjoyed Covington delivered on his promise to bring the gold to the White House and to President Donald Trump.
The interim champion posted the following on Twitter:
Like @POTUS @realDonaldTrump always says: Promises made. Promises kept. Pleasure to finally meet you Mr. President. Thank you for always putting America first! #maga #GreatAmericanWinningMachine —- pic.twitter.com/yYZWkdd5wS

Covington wasn’t the only person who is a part of the UFC to visit the White House and President Trump, as UFC President Dana White made the trip as well.
Don Scavino Jr. is an assistant to the President and he posted the following on Twitter:

White and President Trump have been friends for quite some time now, as the UFC President spoke on the behalf of President Trump at the Republican National Convention a few years back. Trump was reportedly invited to attended the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match, but declined the invitation because the President felt that his presence could affect the show in a negative way.
