Caleb Plant vs. Vincent Feigenbutz Set For PBC On FOX Main Event On February 15

PBC is coming to Nashville, Tennessee on February 15.

Headlining a FOX-televised card from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant will defend his title against Vincent Feigenbutz in a homecoming fight for Plant. This is the second PBC on FOX card announced for 2020.

This will be Plant’s second title defense since he dropped Jose Uzcategui multiple times en route to a decision victory in January 2018 to win the title. His only title defense was in July against light heavyweight fighter Mike Lee, who is coming down to super middleweight for the fight. That bout, which saw Plant stop Lee in three rounds to retain the title, took place on a FOX-televised prelim card right before the Manny Pacquiao vs. Keith Thurman pay-per-view card. Prior to the fight against Lee, Plant openly spoke about getting a title defense in Nashville.

Feigenbutz briefly held the interim WBA super middleweight belt for about three months, beginning with a unanimous decision win over Giovanni De Carolis in November 2015. In January 2016, the two engaged in a rematch, but De Carolis emerged victorious with a TKO win in the 11th round. Since then, Feigenbutz won 10 straight fights, beating his opponent inside the distance in nine of those wins.

The co-feature bout of the card will be a 10-round welterweight fight between Bryant Perrella and Abel Ramos. Perrella has won his last two fights and in his last bout, he stopped Domonique Dolton in the third round. Ramos, who has faced the likes of Regis Prograis and Ivan Baranchyk in the past, is coming into the fight with a 23-3-2 record, last stopping Jimmy Williams in the fourth round back in July.
