Report: Cody Rhodes Not Scheduled To Be At 4/8 WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes is on the road.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Cody Rhodes is scheduled to be at Friday’s WWE SmackDown taping.

In an update, PWInsider is now reporting that Rhodes is not scheduled to be at WWE SmackDown.

It was unknown if he would appear on television. Wrestlers from different brands have been working dark matches in recent weeks, including Drew McIntyre facing Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss in a dark match following the March 28 episode of WWE Raw and RK-Bro taking on Alpha Academy in a dark match following the March 25 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38, defeating Seth Rollins in singles competition. On WWE Raw, Cody made it known that his goal was to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, which is currently held by Roman Reigns.

Reigns is set to address his future on Friday’s WWE SmackDown.
