Here’s your fight size update for Sunday, April 3, 2022.
– The second half of WrestleMania 38 is nearly upon us. Tonight we’ll see the crowning of an Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in a match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. We will also see Austin Theory wrestle Pat McAfee. Speaking with WrestleZone, Theory explains why he has the edge over McAfee.
“You know what? This is WrestleMania, the biggest event that there is in sports entertainment, and I’ve got to face a guy named Patrick. Come on, it sucks! Pat McAfee? You think about all of the legends at WrestleMania, all of the moments you can create,” Theory explained, “and I’m just going to have to create one out of a piece of crap like Pat McAfee when I take a selfie with him down after I beat him on the Grandest Stage Of Them All.”
Austin Theory recently hyped his match with Pat McAfee while speaking with Ariel Helwani.
– Triple H recently spoke to Bloomberg about WWE’s new NIL program where he revealed that the agenda for the program is simply to get people acquainted with the world of WWE that way if they don’t end up becoming WWE Superstars they can at least be ambassadors down the line.
“The agenda is for a lot of these people to end up with us. But let’s say they don’t. Along the way, they’re going to be ambassadors. They’re going to talk about WWE and promote us in college.”
– John Cena acknowledged Cody Rhodes’ return to WWE by posting Cody Rhodes’ tweet on his Instagram.
– During a recent interview with Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Styles commented on the fan expectations for his match tonight with Edge.
Well, this is for me, the expectations, when they’re so high and people expect so much, it’s hard to reach those expectations. So I think it’s very hard, very hard, but we’re not going to go out there and try to please everybody. We’re going to go out there and tell the match, the story within that match that needs to be told. And hopefully, people will find it as entertaining as we do.

– In an interview with Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Naomi spoke about how she misses Total Divas.
“I miss it so much. What’s crazy at the time because we’re just moving so fast, we’re traveling, we’re on the road, we’re working, we’re filming, you’re not really thinking about your life is being filmed and so many people are watching it. Now when the younger, the newer generation of this new era is coming, they were like, “Yeah, I used to watch you on Total Divas. And you made me want to do this.” And I’m like, “What? That is insane.” So you definitely don’t realize the impact when it’s happening, but I’m so glad I was a part of it. I wish we still had it. I think it definitely changed how the world and people just in general view women and wrestling.”
