The Miz Turns On Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre Slices Through The Ropes, And More | WWE Fight Size

Here is your post-WrestleMania 38 fight size update for Saturday, April 2, 2022.

– The opening match of the night saw The Usos retain the SmackDown Tag Team Titles over Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura. During the bout, Boogs went down with an injury and was carried to the back after the bell. It was later revealed that he has a torn quad and the patellar tendon will require surgery. – After months of Happy Corbin causing Drew McIntyre nothing but grief, the two men faced off at WrestleMania 38. The Scottish Warrior would score the win, hitting a Claymore on Corbin. Not only that, but he made history (of sorts) by being the first person to kick out of Corbin’s End of Days. After the match, Madcap Moss tried to get in the ring but was stopped by McIntyre, who sliced through the ropes with his sword, Angela.

– The Miz and Logan Paul, who came to the ring wearing the most expensive Pokemon card in the world around his neck, defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio after Miz hit a Skull Crushing Finale. During their post-match celebration, Miz turned on Paul, hitting him with the move too. Miz blew Logan a kiss as he walked back up the ramp.

– The first and only title change of the night came when Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch to capture the Raw Women’s Championship, avenging her 26-second loss to Lynch at SummerSlam. With this, Belair has now won consecutive title matches at WrestleMania, previously defeating Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 37.

– Stephanie McMahon came out and thanked the crowd before introducing Olympic Gold Medalist and WWE recruit, Gable Steveson.

– Seth Rollins’ surprise WrestleMania opponent was revealed to be recently departed AEW EVP, Cody Rhodes. Cody would win the match after hitting a Bionic Elbow followed by Cross Rhodes.

– The announced attendance for Night One of WrestleMania 38 was 77,899.

Charlotte Flair defeated Ronda Rousey to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship. Rousey had the match won at one point, making Flair tap out, but the referee was down after Charlotte had inadvertently knocked him out.

– In the main event, Stone Cold Steve Austin competed in and won his first match in nearly two decades, defeating Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred Match. For a complete rundown, click here.
