Rhea Ripley Explains Why Raquel Gonzalez Is Her Favorite Person To Work With In The Ring
Rhea Ripley loves working with Raquel Gonzalez.
Speaking with AusGamers, Rhea shared that whether it be as an opponent or tag team partner, her favorite person to work with is Raquel Gonzalez. The two women were part of the same class at the WWE Performance Center and had a feud in NXT to close out 2020 that culminated with a Last Woman Standing Match at New Year’s Evil 2021.
“My answer for this one is always the same: Raquel Gonzalez. She is… absolutely intense and we were in the same class at the WWE Performance Center in Scotty 2 Hotty’s class, we were the only two girls among a group of lads and so we know each other like the backs of our hands. And we not only beat the absolute crap out of each other, but we also work really extremely well together as a team as well. So she’s my number one,” Ripley said.
