The Undertaker Would Like To See Big E Headline WrestleMania, Chris Jericho Believes It’ll Happen

After entering WWE Day 1 as WWE Champion, Big E will miss WrestleMania due to a broken neck suffered on the March 11 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Big E seems to be in good spirits despite the injury, posting videos of himself on social media as he goes through the recovery process. New Day will continue to be represented at WrestleMania with Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods taking on Ridge Holland & Sheamus.

Big E has received support from across the wrestling world following his injury, and speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, two legends offered their support for Big E.

“It’s no surprise to me that Big E became world champion, and it’s no surprise to me that he’s still on people’s minds even though he’s missing this year’s WrestleMania. I have no doubt he’ll be champion again, and he is a WrestleMania main-eventer. It doesn’t take Nostradamus to predict that Big E is going to be back on top of the wrestling world when he’s back,” said Chris Jericho.

Jericho, who is currently signed to AEW, has shared the ring a handful of times with Big E while Jericho was still with WWE.

Undertaker also believes Big E will be back and better than ever.

“It’s really unfortunate what happened to Big E,” said Undertaker. “You never want anyone to get injured. He built so much momentum. That isn’t easy to do. I was so happy to see Big E as champion. He worked his way up, all his hard work paid off. When he’s back, I would like to see him headline a WrestleMania. I don’t think, by any means, we’ve seen his best yet.”

Undertaker is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2022 on Friday night.
