– Former Bellator champion Will Brooks is leveraging for a fight against Edson Barboza. Barboza has said he’d take the fight, but wants a ranked opponent.
– AJ McKee (4-0) vs. Henry Corrales (12-3), Saad Awad (19-7) vs. Derek Anderson (13-2), and Bubba Jenkins (11-2) vs. Georgi Krakhanyan (24-6-1) have been added to Bellator 160 on August 26.
– Sarah Kaufman is angling for a fight with Cris Cyborg, who claims nobody wants to fight her, according to MMA Fighting.
– Melvin Guillard challenged Paul Daley to a fight on a future Bellator show, and Scott Coker seemed interested in making the fight come to fruition on Twitter this week.
– Brazilians Claudia Rey and Taila Santos are out of Invicta 18 due to travel issues. Santos’ fight with Irene Aldana has been pulled. Agnieszka Niedzwiedz (7-0) will face Christine Stanley (5-1) in a bout just added to the show.
