WWE Signs Over Trademarks To Two Former Superstars
WWE has signed over a couple of trademarks.
Heel By Nature obtained documents showing WWE has transferred ownership of the “Matt Hardy” trademark to Matt Hardy and the “Mia Yim” trademark to Mia Yim.
WWE had owned the “Matt Hardy” trademark since 2018 and the “Mia Yim” trademark since August 2019. They signed the Hardy trademark back on March 7th, 2022 and the Yim trademark back on February 18th, 2022.
Hardy has been signed to AEW since March 2020 when he joined the company following his WWE contract expiring. His brother Jeff Hardy recently joined him after his 90-day non-compete expired following his release in December 2021.
Yim was released by WWE in November 2021 and is set to return to the ring against Athena (Ember Moon) at WrestleCon SuperShow.
