MJF On Comparisons To The Miz: It Doesn’t Happen Anymore
MJF thinks that The Miz comparisons are over.
Ever since MJF began to rise on the independent scene, the 26-year old has received many comparisons to both current superstars and wrestling legends of the past. Arguably the biggest comparison that has been cast is to The Miz, to which both guys have responded to in the past.
When making a recent apperance on The Ariel Helwani Show, MJF talked about the comparison to ‘The Most Must-See WWE Superstar Of All Time’ as well as others.
“So it’s really funny. Before Miz, it was EC3. Before EC3, I think it was Jericho because of the scarf. So it went Jericho [to] EC3 [to] Miz.. at points Baron Corbin, which I thought was funny because he’s over six feet tall and he’s a mastodon of a man. I think it’s funny now because that doesn’t happen anymore. I look for it, I’m a nut. I used to type in ‘MJF Miz’ but I don’t see it anymore. I think it’s because I’ve proven myself at such a level.”
It’s hard to argue against MJF’s claims that he has proven himself as such a level, as he boasts a 35-12 record since becoming an inaugural member of the AEW roster back in 2019.
