MJF On WWE Releases: It’s Sink Or Swim Time

MJF gives his opinion on the recent WWE releases.

WWE has released well over 120+ wrestlers from their contract since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. Despite Vince McMahon himself saying that the cuts have not been “personal”, many people have taken a disliking to the way that the company has went about things because of their consistent record profit numbers.

When MJF was asked to share his thoughts on the cuts on a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, he said the following:

“I think that’s a moment where you have to look in the mirror. It’s sink or swim time. Am I as great as I think I am, because if I am I can go elsewhere and shove it to Vince and Triple H or whomever decided to let me go. Okay so, let’s go back to Tough Enough. They didn’t want none of MJF at that point. Okay, here’s the chip on my shoulder. I’m gonna make you swallow it. That’s what I do. These guys are all great talents, I’m sure they’re good dudes.. not that I’m really gonna hang out with any of them, they’re all poor. But you know, to each their own. If they’re as good as they think they are, then they’re gonna make it.”

Despite his feelings on the siutation, MJF has made it very clear that he thinks that WWE will do whatever it takes to sign him to the company. You can also see MJF’s thoughts on the current WWE product by clicking here.
