Final Name Qualifies For X-Division Championship Match At IMPACT Rebellion 2022

The field is set for Rebellion.

On April 23, Trey Miguel is set to defend the X-Division Championship in a Triple Threat Match. His two opponents for Rebellion were determined by a pair of Triple Threat Qualifying Matches, the first of which was won by Ace Austin. The second and final bout took place tonight, March 24, and featured ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, Willie Mack, and Laredo Kid.

After a hard-fought encounter that saw each man come close to winning, it was Mike Bailey who pinned Willie Mack to secure his spot in the X-Division Title Match at Rebellion.

Austin has been working hard to make Bailey his friend but seemed annoyed when Bailey pushed back against his assertion that he be the one to walk out of Rebellion with the title around their waist.

Bailey was recently removed from an X-Division Title Match scheduled for Multiverse of Matches on April 1, but no reason for the change was given. Click here to learn more.
