Here is your post-AEW Dynamite fight size update for Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

– The show began with CM Punk defeating FTR’s Dax Harwood in singles competition. After the bell, FTR were mocked by Gunn Club, who were sitting front row. It was later announced that the two teams would face off next Wednesday night.

– Sting, Darby Allin, and The Hardys defeated The Butcher and The Blade, and Private Party in an 8-Man Tornado Tag Team Match. Darby Allin will go one-on-one with Andrade El Idolo next week on Dynamite.

– After beating the Varsity Blonds, Jon Moxley addressed the crowd and explained the importance of William Regal to himself, saying he’s the only man whose opinion he ever cared about. He also called the group the Blackpool Combat Club and said that if anyone wants to earn their respect, they’ll have to do it the hard way.

– MJF came out and insulted Wardlow, saying that he wasn’t good enough to beat Scorpio Sky last week. He added that his contract is rock solid and there is no way for Wardlow to get out of it. MJF told Wardlow that he is going to continue paying him to stay at home until everyone forgets who he is and becomes a nobody once again.

– Wheeler Yuta and Trent Beretta shared that they never really liked each other much. Yuta isn’t concerned about being a best friend so much as he is the best wrestler. He then walked away from Best Friends, leaving his future with the group in question.

– After beating Jay Lethal via a low blow, Adam Cole called out Hangman Page, who came out and started taking out Cole and reDRagon, but they were able to stand tall to end the segment after Cole delivered another low blow, this time to the AEW Champion.

– Tay Conti and Sammy Guevara came out and challenged Paige VanZant and any other member of Men of the Year or American Top Team to a match. Dan Lambert then came out and denied their request. After kissing the belt, Conti and Guevara told Lambert that not only do they live in his head but now in his mouth too. Tay later shared evidence of what she meant.

– After defeating Red Velvet by using a piece of the turnbuckle post as a weapon, Leyla Hirsch continued to assault her former friend after the bell. This brought out Kris Statlander, who made the save and chased Hirsch away.

– Jade Cargill is making preparations for her 30th victory celebration before it has even happened.

– Thunder Rosa came out to celebrate her title victory from last week but was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero. She was then attacked by Nyla Rose, who has her sights set on becoming a 2-time Champion.

– In the main event, thanks to an undetected strike with a baseball bat, Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia were able to defeat John Silver and Alex Reynolds to pick up their first win together as a team.
