Johnny Gargano Set For WrestleCon 2022
Johnny Gargano is coming to WrestleCon.
WrestleCon and Gargano announced that the former NXT Champion will appear at WrestleCon during WrestleMania weekend.
Gargano noted that he always enjoyed doing Axxess for WWE during his time with the company and had never done a WrestleCon event.
Doing signings at Axxess was one of my favorite parts of Wrestlemania weekend (so much so that I would always ask to do extra sessions if someone couldn’t do it)
Believe it or not.. I’ve never done a @wrestlecon! So it felt like a good time.. Excited to see all of you in Dallas! pic.twitter.com/0N1d0kqGOD

On February 28, Gargano posted booking information and announced he would be taking select bookings. It was never specified that he would be making wrestling appearances.
On the December 7 episode of NXT, Johnny Gargano gave his farewell speech to NXT, saying he wasn’t sure what was next for him as his contract expired. Gargano had said many times that he would be taking time off to be with his family, noting that he had been there through every step of the pregnancy process with Candice LeRae and wanted to continue to be there as she prepared to deliver in February. He also wanted to spend as much time as possible with his family once the baby was born.
LeRae and Gargano welcomed baby Quill into the world on February 18.
As previously announced, Bray Wyatt (Windham) has also been announced for WrestleCon. You can find more information by clicking here.
