5 Fights Added To UFC Fight Night 111

A plethora of fights have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 111 card as #8 Andrei Arlovski faces #13 Marcin Tybura, Takanori Gomi faces Jon Tuck, Ulka Sasaki faces Justin Scoggins, Russell Doane faces Kwan Ho Kwak and Cyril Asker faces Walt Harris.

Arlovski (25-14-0-1NC) will be entering the bout on a four fight losing streak, dropping fights to Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem, Josh Barnett and Francis Ngannou. It has been nearly two years since the last time Arlovski won a fight, with that last win coming over Frank Mir at UFC 191.

Tybura (15-2-0) has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Viktor Pesta and Luis Henrique. Tybura is a former M-1 Challenge Heavyweight Champion and he gave up the gold when he signed with the UFC.

Gomi (35-12-0-1NC) will be entering the fight riding a three fight losing streak, those losses came to Myles Jury, Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller. It has been over four years since the last time Gomi won, that last win came over Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC 172.

Tuck (9-4-0) has won just one of his last four fights in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Tae Hyun Bang at UFC Fight Night 66. Tuck will enter the fight while riding a two fight losing streak and it has been almost two years since he last won a bout.

Sasaki (19-4-2) has also won just one of his last four fights in UFC competition, with those losses coming to Leandro Issa, Taylor Lapilus and Wilson Reis. Sasaki has fought all five of his bouts thus far on “Fight Night” cards and he has been with the promotion for almost three years.

Scoggins (11-3-0) has won two of his last three fights within the UFC auspices, those two wins have come over Josh Sampo and Ray Borg. Scoggins has been winless since moving up to the bantamweight division, dropping a bout to Pedro Munhoz at UFC Fight Night 100.

Doane (14-7-0) will be entering the fight on a four fight winning streak, with those losses coming to Iuri Alcantara, Jerrod Sanders, Pedro Munhoz and Mirsad Bektic. It has been almost three years since the last time Doane won a fight, which came over Marcus Brimage at UFC 175.

Kwak (9-1-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Brett Johns at UFC Fight Night 99. Kwak is also a former Top Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion and a former Pacific Xtreme Combat Bantamweight Champion.

Asker (8-2-0) has won just one of two fights in the UFC, defeating Dmitry Smoliakov and suffering a defeat to Jared Cannonier. Asker also competed three times in the Extreme Fighting Championships promotion, where he holds a win over UFC veteran Ruan Potts.

Harris (9-5-0) has won two of four in his second UFC run, with his victories coming over Cody East and Chase Sherman. Harris also competed once under the Titan Fighting Championships banner, where he defeated DJ Linderman by knockout.

UFC Fight Night 111 takes place on Saturday, June 17 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with no main event announced as of yet. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
