Chris Jericho Renames 2point0, Original Names Were A ‘Stupid Idea From Bad Creative’
Chris Jericho officially begins the new era of the Jericho Appreciation Society on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
During the commencement ceremony for the Jericho Appreciation Society, Chris Jericho declared that he is not a professional wrestler but a Sports Entertainer. Chris Jericho also was able to get Daniel Garcia, who is a renowned professional wrestler to admit that he is also a Sports Entertainer. Chris Jericho spoke about how Daniel Garcia appreciates him because once helped fund his recovery after Daniel Garcia shattered his tibia and fibula several years ago.
When speaking about 2point0, Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, Chris Jericho stated that fans would never hear those names again and that those names are “stupid ideas from bad creative.” Jericho then explained how he came to know of these men thanks to a call from his friend, Kevin (Kevin Owens), and from now on, these men will not use stage names.
From here on out, Matt Lee will be known as “Daddy Magic” Matt Minard and Jeff Parker will be known as “Cool Hand Ang” Angelo Parker.
Chris Jericho further explained that Jake Hager is his ride or die and that in the Jericho Appreciation Society they understand entertainment.
