Sonya Deville: I Don’t Know Why Comment Sections Go Berserk When I Post A Photo With Rhea Ripley
Sonya Deville and Rhea Ripley give off “strong energy.”
When Sonya Deville returned to the ring recently to take her feud with Naomi to the next level, she began wearing new ring gear that some fans noticed is similar to that of Rhea Ripley’s. In fact, the two took a picture together backstage at WWE Elimination Chamber while they were both wearing similar gear.

Sonya Deville, on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, discussed her gear being so similar to Rhea Ripley’s and the comments that photos of the pair generate on social media.
“When I returned in my match against Naomi, I was getting tweets that my gear looks like Rhea Ripley. I was like, ‘Oh, it kind of does.’ But I didn’t do it intentionally,” she explained. “We do have a very similar style and then we looked at each other and saw it, and she was like, ‘We have to do a photoshoot.’ I was like, ‘Dude, we have to.’ So we went and took pictures. I don’t know why, but the combination with me and Rhea, anytime I post a picture of me and Rhea, the comment section goes berserk, and they’re a little inappropriate if you know what I’m saying.”
Deville went on to explain that she doesn’t understand why the comment section goes berserk whenever she takes a picture with Rhea Ripley because she takes a picture with many of the beautiful women in WWE all the time, but she does say that she and Ripley exude “large energy.”
“I don’t know what it is. I post pictures with beautiful women all the time. Mandy, Liv, Carmella, like I don’t know. I think it might be that we both have like large energy, strong energy,” said Sonya.
Ryan then explained that photos of the pair generally generate comments such as “step on me,” which helped Sonya Deville understand why her comments section lights up when she takes a photo with Rhea Ripley and also opened her eyes to a demographic she says she didn’t realize existed.
“Got it… Okay, I’m catching a vibe of what they like. Okay, interesting. Well, that’s a whole ‘nother demographic we just tapped into that I didn’t know existed,” she responded.
Elsewhere on the podcast, she spoke about her relationship with Vince McMahon and how he’s helped her grow as an all-around performer. Read more here.
