Charlotte Flair: I Work For WWE And Andrade Works For AEW, There Doesn’t Need To Be Drama Behind It.
Charlotte Flair comments on her fiance, Andrade, working for AEW.
With the rise of a number two wrestling promotion for the first time in two decades in All Elite Wrestling, many couples in the world of professional wrestling have found themselves working for different promotions as each tries to achieve their highest level of success in the world of wrestling.
For a time, Adam Cole and Britt Baker were working for WWE and AEW respectively and now, Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo are in a similar position as Charlotte Flair continues to dominate the WWE women’s division and Andrade looks to climb the mountain of AEW and find success that he was unable to find in WWE.
Speaking on HOT 97, Charlotte Flair addressed the idea that there needs to be inherent drama or any possibility that she is jumping to AEW just because her fiance is there.
Charlotte says she supports her fiance and believe that he made the best move for himself and his career by going to AEW.
“In terms of my fiance, I think everyone likes to dream and play with this, like, ‘Oh my gosh, he’s over there and she’s here and she’s gonna leave or he’s gonna leave or —’ No, like, he wants to be successful. I want to be successful. We encourage each other. I don’t tease things for attention, right or put things out there so I can get clicks or likes or attention and be like, ‘Oh, she liked an AEW tweet,’ come on guys. I’ve been the face of the Women’s Division at WWE for how long now? My fiance made a decision, what I think was best for him, but just because he’s at another company doesn’t mean there needs to be drama behind it. If anything we want both companies to do well for competition,” Charlotte Flair said.
