Third Team Advances To Semi-Finals Of 2022 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
Another team has advanced to the semi-finals of the 2022 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
On the March 1 episode of NXT 2.0, the remaining quarterfinal matches in the Women’s Dusty Cup were held. One of the bouts saw Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo take on Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta.
Prior to the match, Persia irked Indi by bringing up Duke Hudson and asking if her and Dexter Lumis’ relationship would be okay. In the ring, things didn’t go much better for the friends as they were defeated by Dakota and Wendy, who worked flawlessly as a team in their first outing together.
Wendy and Dakota will face the winner of the night’s other quarterfinal clash between Cora Jade/Raquel Gonzalez and Yulisa Leon/Valentina Feroz.

The other semi-final match, which was decided last week, will see Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray face Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro.
The winner of the tournament will earn an NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity.
The Creed Brothers won the Men’s tournament at NXT Vengeance Day, defeating MSK in the finals.
