Jonathan Gresham: I’m Not Letting Santana Beat Me At TERMINUS, He Won’t Take The ROH Title To AEW
Jonathan Gresham plans on holding court at TERMINUS 2.
TERMINUS, which was formed by Jonathan Gresham and Baron Black, held its debut event on January 16. Following the main event between Jonathan Gresham and Josh Alexander, Santana of AEW came out and specifically challenged Jonathan Gresham for his original ROH World Title.
Santana is primarily a tag team wrestler and has never competed under pure rules in his career, so their upcoming match in the main event of TERMINUS 2 heavily favors “The Octopus.”
Speaking with Lucas Charpiot of VL Media, Gresham explained exactly how he would exploit his advantage over Santana.
“It is Santana’s first pure rules match so they (the fans) can expect him to be out of his environment. I rule pure wrestling. I am the best pure wrestler in the world. He’s stepping into my domain. I’m planning on teach him what pure wrestling is all about. I’m pretty sure his goal is to stand toe-to-toe with me and my style of wrestling, but also taking the Ring of Honor World Championship with him to AEW. I’ve all intentions on shutting his plans down. The number one thing is to give to the fans in Atlanta and the fans watching all around the world, something that they’ll remember,” said Gresham.
