Carmelo Hayes and Max Caster have a bit of banter on television.
Carmelo Hayes went “peace up, A Town down” during his recent bout against Cameron Grimes on NXT television. Fans were quick to mention that Hayes was referencing The Acclaimed, who do the same gesture on AEW television because everyone loves The Acclaimed.
Even Max Caster thought Carmelo Hayes loves The Acclaimed.

Hayes disavowed any knowledge of loving the Acclaimed as he doesn’t watch the AEW YouTube shows.

While the Acclaimed (Caster & Anthony Bowens) are regularly featured on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation, they did main event the January 19 episode of AEW Dynamite against Sting & Darby Allin.
Hayes is a staple on NXT as the reigning NXT North American Champion.
