Brock Lesnar’s Return To Raw Announced

If there was any doubt that Brock Lesnar was off the hook as far as his WWE career is concerned, it was confirmed Monday Night. Brock Lesnar will be returning to the show on the August 1 edition.

Lesnar hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since April, following a program with current WWE Champion Dean Ambrose. After emerging victorious at WrestleMania, Lesnar made a surprise move back to the UFC, where he competed at UFC 200 against top-10 heavyweight Mark Hunt.

After a fairly one sided victory over Hunt, Lesnar failed two United States Anti-Doping Agency tests for an estrogen blocker, clomiphene. While Lesnar is likely to face disciplinary action from the Nevada Athletic Commission and the UFC, he hasn’t faced any from WWE.

Lesnar will face off against Smackdown’s Randy Orton at next month’s Summerslam. On Sunday’s Battleground PPV, Orton made light of Lesnar’s PED use, although he was outed nine years ago as having obtained the same substance in which Brock Lesnar had tested positive for.

Next week’s Raw takes place from Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
