WWE 205 Live Coverage & Discussion 3/21 The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived Addresses Neville & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE 205 Live! We are just a week away from Wrestlemania where Neville will defend his WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Austin Aries, but tonight The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived looks to address the self-proclaimed King of the Cruiserweights! The Brian Kendrick looks to continue doling out lessons to the Japanese sensation Akira Tozawa. How long will Akira be able to put up with The Man with the Plan before he snaps? Be sure to come back here at 10 PM EST for what should be a great show!

-We open with Neville being interviewed backstage about Austin Aries being the new number one contender and their match at Wrestlemania. 

TJ Perkins vs Tony Nese

Nese refuses to shake hands before the match, then plays to the crowd and mocks TJ after tossing him into the corner when he tries to put a headlock on him. They exchange standing switches, then arm drag take overs before TJ hits a huricanrrana that sends Nese out of the ring. TJ dives over the top rope and lands on Nese on the outside, then puts him in a variation of an octopus stretch into a pin attempt for a quick two count. Nese catches TJ, then puts him on his shoulders before hitting a gutbuster for a quick two count, then whips TJ across the ring, TJ landing on his head and collapsing to the mat. Nese drops TJ with a series of kicks for a near fall, then plays to the crowd before TJ catches Nese running in and hits him with a neckbreaker.

TJ comes back with a series of kicks including a basement dropkick, then hits a wheelbarrow facebuster for a near fall before Nese rolls to the outside. Nese pulls TJ down into the ropes throat first, then hits a moonsault for a near fall before TJ counters a suplex into the turnbuckle. Nese catches TJ on the top rope, then goes for a running knee, but TJ counters into a flying armbar. Nese rolls over and tries to pin TJ, but he quickly lets the hold go. Nese then suplexes TJ into the exposed turnbuckle before hitting a running knee in the corner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tony Nese via pinfall

-We have Drew Gulak interviewed backstage about how he acted last week after his match, saying that the audience is the problem, saying that the fans are the reasons why the talent can get hurt; Drew then saying that he has a solution before leaving.

Akira Tozawa vs Brian Kendrick

Akira immediately hits a snap German suplex with a bridge for the pin and the win.

Winner: Akira Tozawa via pinfall

-After the match Tozawa tells the real Brian Kendrick to come out to the ring, but he won't come out. Tozawa says that if he won't come to him, then Tozawa will go to him before Kendrick attacks Tozawa dressed as a security guard. 

-Austin Aries comes out and interviews himself, mocking Neville and saying that he's above the level of Neville. Neville then comes out and interrupts him, Aries saying that he doesn't need him out there tonight. Aries says that Neville is a downer and no one likes him before Neville threatens him, then Aries joins the broadcast team as we go to commercial.

Neville vs Mustafa Ali

Ali gets out of a headlock to start the match, then Neville takes him down with another headlock before Ali gets out and does several flips until Neville drops him on his face. Neville hits a flapjack, then stomps on Ali before whipping him across the ring and into the turnbuckle for a near fall. The match is mostly an opportunity for Aries to talk about his match with Neville seeing as the announce team barely reference the match while it's going on. Ali comes back and sends Neville to the outside before hitting a high angle springboard cross body onto the floor. Neville gets back in and Ali hits a dropkick, then an enzuigiri before hitting his rolling neckbreaker for a near fall.

Ali goes for a tornado DDT, but Neville catches him and crotches him on the top rope before Ali hits a springboard Spanish fly for a near fall.Ali hits a tornado DDT that spikes Neville into the mat for another near fall, then goes for the inverted 450 splash, but Neville rolls out to the apron. Neville then hits a super release German suplex before Neville drops Ali out of the ring and swings him into the ring post before staring Aries down and dragging him back into the ring. Neville then locks in the Rings of Saturn for the tap and the win.

Winner: Neville via submission
