Tommaso Ciampa Helps Bron Breakker, Von Wagner Is Under New Management, And More | NXT Fight Size

Here is your post-NXT fight size update for Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

– The show opened with MSK defeating Jacket Time to advance to the semi-finals for the 2022 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

– Santos Escobar came to the ring and says he resents all the opportunities Bron Breakker has been given in such a short time. Breakker came out and said he would put his title on the line versus Santos, but the Legado leader backed away, opting to make a decision in his own time.

– After having his face burned by Boa two weeks ago, Solo Sikoa was able to exact some revenge, defeating his adversary in a No Holds Barred match. 

– Kay Lee Ray, Indi Hartwell, and Persia Pirotta were able to send a message to Toxic Attraction, defeating them in a 6-Woman Tag match. 

– Raquel Gonzalez continues to deny Cora Jade’s request to be tag team partners in the Dusty Cup. Cora tried to get physical with Raquel, but the former Champion intercepted a slap before they had to be separated. 

– Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward to advance to the semi-finals of the Dusty Cup for the third straight year. After the match, Von Wagner attacked the Chase U men, revealing himself to be the newest client of Robert Stone. 

– After losing to Io Shirai, Tiffany Stratton called her dad to complain about all the “weirdos” in NXT.

– With the help of Pete Dunne, who attacked Tony D’Angelo with a cricket bat, Cameron Grimes was able to become the new number one contender for the North American Championship. He will face Carmelo Hayes for the belt at NXT Vengeance Day.

– Legado del Fantasma tried to attack Bron Breakker after the show, but Tommaso Ciampa came to his defense. This is the first time we’ve seen Ciampa since dropping the NXT Title to Bron. They will team up next week versus Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde.
