AAA And CMLL Postponing Upcoming Shows Due To COVID Surge
AAA Lucha Libre and CMLL are postponing upcoming shows.
AAA Lucha Libre announced that their show on January 30 in in Merida, Yucatan has been postponed due to rising COVID numbers. The event was set to be headlined by FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defending the AAA Tag Team Championships against The Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero M). The match was already in question due to an injury suffered by Fenix.
AAA’s next scheduled show is Rey de Reyes on February 19, which is headlined by Johnny Mundo (John Morrison) challenging Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship.

AAA isn’t the only company to postpone upcoming shows as CMLL postponed events starting January 7 and then announced that all functions have currently been suspended.
