UFC Fight Night 106 Ratings Are In

The ratings for UFC Fight Night 106 are in, and the UFC event drew a total of 946,000 viewers to the Fox Sports 1 televised broadcast.

The four fight preliminary card, which had Kevin Lee and Francisco Trinaldo in the featured spot, averaged 830,000 viewers.

Some good news came out of the pre-show, which drew an average viewership of 440,000 viewers, the best numbers a pre-show has done for a “Fight Night” event this year.

There were a lot of notables competing on the UFC Fight Night 106 card, including former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort, TUF Champion Kelvin Gastelum, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio Rus, Gian Villante, Edson Barboza and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title challenger Bethe Correia.

Other major sporting events that night were NBA Basketball on CBS and the conference tournaments for NCAA Men’s Basketball and NCAA Women’s Basketball.

The next event to air on Fox Sports 1 will be the preliminary card for the upcoming UFC 210 event, which will be headlined by UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier defending the gold in a rematch against Anthony Johnson. The featured preliminary card fight that will air on FS1 has yet to be announced.
