Jon Moxley Officially Defending GCW Title At ‘The WRLD On GCW’ In Hammerstein Ballroom
Jon Moxley returns to pro wrestling.
Jon Moxley abruptly pulled himself away from the world of professional wrestling in the latter portion of 2021 in order to enter an alcohol treatment program. All plans were put on hold regarding Moxley. He was replaced in the World Championship Eliminator Tournament by Miro and his AEW career was put on pause. However, Jon Moxley also wrestles outside of AEW.
As the incumbent GCW World Champion, it was decided that Jon Moxley would hold the title until he was ready to come back and we now know when that will be. Game Changer Wrestling announced today that Jon Moxley will officially defend the GCW World Championship against Homicide inside the Hammerstein Ballroom on January 23, 2022 for “The WRLD on GCW.”
