Dana White Confirms That Leon Edwards Is Next To Face Kamaru Usman | Social Media Roundup
The UFC president Dana White has confirmed that Leon Edwards is next in line to face Kamaru Usman for the UFC welterweight title — this and much more on Thursday’s social media roundup.
Dana White confirms Leon Edwards will be next to face Kamaru Usman
With the run which Kamaru Usman has been on over the last few years, he is quickly running out of challengers in the welterweight division as he has beaten a lot of the top contenders.
One of the top contenders who Usman has already beaten is Leon Edwards. Although Usman holds a win over Edwards, it was many years ago and both fighters have massively improved since.
With Edwards being on a long unbeaten run and Usman running out of challengers, it always seemed like the two would cross paths again next, and now, the UFC president Dana White has confirmed that.
When I asked if Leon Edwards is next in line to fight for the welterweight championship, Dana White’s reply was “100%”

Usman is of course fresh off a big win in what was another incredible fight against Colby Covington and Edwards defeated Nate Diaz via decision in the summer.
Are you excited to see Usman and Edwards face each other again?
