AJ Francis (Top Dolla) Says The Door Is Never Closed With WWE
Hit Row weren’t together for a long time in WWE, but they made an impact during their brief stint as a group.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Top Dolla, and B-Fab gained popularity in NXT and were involved in unique segments such as the championship cypher at NXT Great American Bash. They were drafted to the main roster in October but were released — B-Fab was released two weeks before the guys — in November.
Speaking on Ringsiders Wrestling, Top Dolla (AJ Francis) commented on Hit Row’s future.
“We really know, not just think, we know that we could have revolutionized the business as a whole as a group. Now, we’re still in a position to be able to do that in a different avenue. Swerve was a star in wrestling before he got to WWE. I was a star outside of wrestling before I got to WWE. Now, we’re able to attack all avenues instead of the same avenue but still work together,” he said.
When asked about a potential return to WWE, Top Dolla said, “The door is never closed with WWE, either. People go and come back to WWE literally every year. The only problem is, how does it look the next time? Is it all four of us? One of us? Two of us? Three of us? None of us?”
Top Dolla had a 90-day non-compete clause attached to his release. While he’s unable to sign with another wrestling company at the moment, he and Scott are working on a new music video.
