AEW Battle Of The Belts On 1/8/22 Draws Over 700,000 Viewers

The viewership is in for AEW Battle of the Belts. 

Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics reports that AEW Battle of the Belts on January 8 drew 704,000 viewers and 0.27 rating (355,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic. 

AEW Rampage the night before, drew 588,000 viewers and a 0.24 rating in the 18to 49 demographic, airing in its usual 10 p.m. ET slot on TNT.  

AEW Battle of the Belts finished 11th on the night among cable originals. The night was won by the two NFL games on ESPN. Both games drew over 6.5 million viewers. The late game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles drew a 1.98 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, putting it on top for the night. 

AEW Battle of the Belts was the first quarterly special for AEW on TNT, airing on Saturday, January 8 from 8 p.m. ET to 9 p.m. ET.
