Fight Nights Global Signs UFC & WSOF Veterans, Including Title Challengers

The Russia based Fight Nights Global promotion has signed four fighters to the roster in UFC veterans Rousimar Palhares (also WSOF veteran) and Ali Bagautinov, plus WSOF veterans Tyson Nam and Josh Hill.

Palhares (18-8-0) signs with the promotion while on a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to Emil Meek and Michal Materla. Palhares is a former WSOF Welterweight Champion, but was stripped of the title after a controversial bout with Jake Shields that lead to both fighters getting suspended. Palhares was suspended after holding onto a submission longer after Shields tapped, while Shields was suspended for attacking Palhares after the bell.

Bagautinov (14-5-0) recently got released by the UFC after earning a record of 4-3-0 during his time in the promotion. Bagautinov previously challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing to current champion Demetrious Johnson at UFC 174.

Nam (14-8-1) has won two of his last three as he signs with the promotion, with those wins coming over Arnold Berdon and Ian Dela Cuesta. Nam also competed twice under the WSOF banner, dropping fights to the duo of Marlon Moraes and Cody Bollinger.

Hill (15-2-0) has won five of his last six as he signs with the promotion, with his last win coming over Xavier Alaoui at TKO 36. Hill has challenged twice for the WSOF Bantamweight Title, losing both shots to former champion Marlon Moraes.

Nam and Bagautinov will be headlining a Fight Nights Global event this April, while Palhares and Hill will debut at future events.
