New IWGP US Champion Crowned At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 Night Two
The Ace is back on top.
Hiroshi Tanahashi regained the IWGP United States Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 when he defeated KENTA in a No DQ match. The bout featured tables, ladders, chairs, kendo sticks, and more with KENTA getting busted open in the bout.
The finish saw Tanahashi climb to the top of a ladder and hit a high fly flow onto KENTA and through a table.
KENTA was helped to the back while Tanahashi looked rather dejected during his celebration.
