– Maryse tried to get involved in The Miz and Edge’s match but was eventually chased off a Beth Phoenix who made a surprise appearance. Her presence distracted Miz long enough for Edge to hit a spear for the pin and win. Nikki Bella commented on Beth’s arrival at Day 1 with a post on Twitter.
