Light Heavyweights Headlining LFA 9
A light heavyweight division attraction will be headlining the upcoming Legacy Fighting Alliance 9 card as Myron Dennis will be battling Ryan Spann.
Dennis (12-5-0) will be making his LFA debut in this fight and he is also a former Legacy Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Champion. Dennis also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23 and he lost in the quarterfinals to Andrew Sanchez by unanimous decision. Dennis is also 1-1-0 against UFC veterans, as he defeated Paul Buentello and suffered a defeat to Corey Anderson.
Spann (9-4-0) is currently winless under the LFA banner, having dropped a fight to Trevin Giles by split decision at LFA 3. Spann has twice before challenged for the Legacy Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Title, losing both opportunities to Robert Drysdale and Leonardo Leite. Spann has only earned one victory in the last two years, with that win coming over Aaron Davis at Legacy FC 52.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 9 takes place on Friday, April 14 from the Firelake Casino in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Myron Dennis and Ryan Spann headlining. The main card will be airing live on AXS TV, while Fightful will also be providing results of the show when it is completed.
