MJF Wants Eddie Kingston To Hit A Gym; Kingston Calls MJF A Scared Child Hiding Behind A Gimmick

MJF and Eddie Kingston trade not-so-veiled barbs.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Eddie Kingston are two proud New Yorkers. While both men are from different parts of New York completely, both have the ego and drive associated with being from the Empire State.

To date, both men have not crossed paths in AEW. However, as both men were doing media for AEW’s debut on Long Island at the UBS Arena, they began to trade shots at one another.

First was Maxwell. No stranger to poking the bear unnecessarily, Maxwell told Josh Martinez of Z100 that he has one question for Eddie Kingston and that is simply, “when is he going to hit the gym?”

“When are you going to hit the gym? That’s my question. You will not find one fat person in the Long Island audience. I can promise you that. Everybody in that Long Island audience is going to be svelte and they’re going to be rocking the Burb. That’s all you’re gonna see.”

Eddie Kingston also had words for Maxwell Jacob Friedman while appearing on the Barstool Rasslin’ podcast. Eddie Kingston says he doesn’t believe Maxwell is the asshole but he projects on camera. Rather, he believes that MJF is just a scared child.

“Yeah, see, I don’t think he is [actually an asshole]. I think he’s just a scared child, who is acting like an asshole. I think, you know, this is all an act for him. It’s all gimmick for him. I think he is actually very scared. I’m looking down at the camera because I hope he’s seeing this and understands what I’m saying. He’s a scared child like a lot of people in our locker room. A lot of scared children.”

Currently, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is preoccupied with CM Punk, somebody Eddie Kingston knows very well, and Eddie Kingston is preoccupied with Daniel Garcia and 2point0. Next week, MJF will have to turn his attention to Dante Martin as he tries to defend his Dynamite Diamond Ring at Winter is Coming. Learn more here.
