Ric Flair Teases Match Against Sammy Guevara, Guevara Responds
If you ever wanted to see Ric Flair in one more match, you may be getting your chance…but probably not.
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair took to Twitter to proclaim that when he dies, it’ll be beside his ‘hot wife’ or wrestling AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara.
Like I Said… I’m Going To Die, And It’s Either Going To Be Next To My Hot Wife Or In The Ring Next To @sammyguevara. Preparing For One Or The Other! WOOOOO! pic.twitter.com/jwR9NuuXgm

Flair’s tweet garnered a response from Guevara, who teased a bit of interest in the matchup.

The interaction comes after Flair’s recent comments on his ‘Wooo Nation: Uncensored‘ podcast, in which ‘The Nature Boy’ claimed that an Israeli-based promotion offered him $100,000 for a match against Sammy Guevara.
“There’s a promoter in Israel that wanted me to wrestle your boy Sammy [Guevara],” Flair told co-host Mark Madden. “They said $100,000 and two first-class tickets there. 50 percent down and 50 percent after I beat Sammy. I’d have to figure out what to wear but [shrugs].”
It’s to be noted that 72-year old Flair, hasn’t wrestled since 2011 and has had a handful of major health issues in the past few years.
