Kenny Omega Needs Time Away To ‘Fix’ Things; Adam Cole: Cleaner, I Got This
Kenny Omega needs to step away to fix things.
AEW Dynamite opened with Kenny Omega addressing his AEW World Title loss to Hangman Page at AEW Full Gear. Omega congratulated Page and said he hasn’t watched the match back and doesn’t know when the rematch will be because he needs time away from AEW to “fix” things.
He said he was counting on The Superkliq to hold the fort down while he was gone.
Adam Cole replied, “Cleaner, I got this.” Omega was not amused, saying he was talking to The Young Bucks. The Bucks said they will all hold down the fort.
Cole’s line was a reference to a famous tweet made in reply to Omega when discussing Riddle.

Omega was reportedly medically evaluated on Wednesday to determine if he would take a break from wrestling. Omega reportedly was going to take time off at some point, but chose not to so he could complete the storyline with Hangman Page.
In a video where Kenny underwent a chiropractic adjustment by Dr. Beau Hightower, he revealed that he has had to train himself to wrestle in a spinning ring due to bouts of vertigo he’s faced since 2018.
He also confirmed a shoulder injury, saying he was having difficulty doing a straight side arm raise.
