Kevin Owens: If I Win The Tag Team Titles With Anyone, It Should Be With Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens has held plenty of singles gold in WWE, but he’s never been good with partners.

He’s a former WWE Universal Champion, NXT Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and United States Champion. While he’s been partners with the likes of Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho, he’s never held tag team gold.

Speaking to Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT, Owens discussed the possibility of winning tag gold with Sami or someone else.

“I’d love to be tag team champion just to add that notch to my belt. If it was going to be with anybody, it should be with Sami [Zayn] but it doesn’t seem like our trajectories are going to line up that way. Otherwise, I think Finn Balor would be a great partner for me. Beyond that, I really don’t know who I could pick. It doesn’t feel like anybody else would necessarily feel right, but those two guys definitely do,” he said.

Owens tried to form partnerships and friendships again on Monday’s Raw, but reverted to his old ways by attacking Big E to close the show.
