UFC 209 Prelims & Bellator 174 Ratings Are In
This past Saturday Night’s UFC 209 Preliminary Card, which aired live on Fox Sports 1 drew a rating of 1,033,000 viewers on average.
The highest rating for the four fight preliminary card took place during the come from behind win by Darren Elkins over Mirsad Bektic, which drew a rating of 1,183,000 viewers.
The number is an impressive one for the UFC 209 Preliminary Card, as it was going head to head with the Keith Thurman/Danny Garcia boxing match on CBS.
The pre-fight show that aired on Fox Sports 1 drew a rating of 453,000 viewers, while the post-fight show that aired on Fox Sports 1 as well drew a rating of 205,000 viewers. The weigh-ins that aired on Fox Sports 1 the day before the event drew a rating of 207,000 viewers as well.
Bellator 174, which was headlined by the crowning of the promotions first ever women’s featherweight champion drew a rating of 686,000 viewers. That even saw Julia Budd win the championship and opponent Marloes Coenen announce her retirement after the defeat.
The next UFC event will be UFC Fight Night 106 and that will be taking place on Saturday, March 11.
The next Bellator MMA event will be Bellator 175 and that will be taking place on Friday, March 31.
