Xavier Woods Is Proud To Be King, Mandy Rose Talks Title Win, Updated AEW Rankings

Here’s your fight size update for Friday, November 5, 2021:

– Speaking to Courier & Press, Xavier Woods talked about what being King of the Ring means to him.

Being King of the Ring is something that I’ve wanted for the longest time. I want to be on top of the mountain and to me, the King of the Ring as the mountain-top makes the most logical sense. I was into King Arthur and all medieval things as a kid and still am. I always noticed that when fights would break out kings had champions who fought for them. That showed me that being king is most important, so that’s how it’s always been burned in my brain. And it’s just it’s something that’s very fun. I always remember older Kings of the Ring and what they did with it, whether it’s crazy or not, it’s still interesting.

Being king I get this crown, which is essentially what I was gunning for with the PhD. It’s something that you wear upon your head, and regardless of who the person talking to you is, they have to address you as such.

Being king is also about pulling my weight in the New Day. Kofi has been heavyweight champion, Big E is the current heavyweight champion. I’ve only been King for a couple weeks, but to go from the kid who’s just watching wrestling throughout the week while he’s in school to the grown man who now wears the crown is an absurd feeling.

Mandy Rose spoke to Muscle & Fitness about winning the NXT Title:

“It was obviously a very exciting time, definitely,” she says. “A lot of emotions going through my head at that moment. I think all the hard work, over the years has paid off and finally, I have this incredible achievement that I can look back on for years to come, I’m just really excited for the journey. It’s a true reflection of how much work I have put in, I’ve been with WWE for 5 or 6 years now, and it’s not just because it’s a title. It’s just one of those moments where I can truly reflect and feel truly blessed and grateful for everything that I have accomplished.”

– Here’s your SmackDown preview for tonight:

– Music composer John Kiernan will be releasing the all new entrance theme for IMPACT Wrestling’s Newest Knockout, Masha Slamovich:

Hackensack, NJ (Nov. 2021) – The new original entrance theme for IMPACT Wrestling’s Newest Knockout Masha Slamovich, “Art of Violence”, has just been released on YouTube and BandCamp.

Masha Slamovich, IMPACT Wrestling’s newest Knockout, has been slamming her opponents across the world. Hailing from Moscow Russia, Slamovich is a hard hitting, no nonsense, physically dominating wrestler. Standing toe-to-toe with some of the best in all of professional wrestling, she has shown her main event level capabilities. Hand picked by wrestling legend Gail Kim to face Impact Knockout Champion Deanna Purrazzo highlighted her show stealing power and earned her an immediate contract with Impact. Her match at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 7 against Marina Shafir further showed that she is a master in the Art of Violence.

For this song, John Kiernan brings the metal, “in the same vein as Arch Enemy, Testament, and that good ol’ trash, Masha’s here and us coming for the heads of anyone standing across for her, and this theme brings energy”. Art of Violence starts ominously and then drops the sickle and the hammer. Expect to be hurt, because Masha has arrived.

“Art of Violence” is available for streaming on Youtube and Bandcamp NOW, check it out!
