Wrestling World Reacts To ROH Halting Live Events For First Quarter Of 2022
ROH announced today that the company will halt live events for the first quarter of 2022.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Ring of Honor has released all talent from contracts. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that the releases are effective at the end of the year and if a contract goes beyond 2021, talent will be paid until March 31.
On social media, The wrestling world reacted to the news with many of the talent reacting by simply announcing that they were accepting bookings.

Sad on many levels about the ROH news
The ROH i worked for was gone long ago, but a lot of the people weren’t
In working with this new ROH team this summer I saw a lot of hard working & talented people who loved that place the way I did during my time there
I feel for them all

ROH Final Battle will still take place on December 11. Fightful will continue to update this story as more is known.
