WWE Main Event Report For February 24: Cedrick Alexander/TJ Perkins vs. Noam Dar/Tony Nese & Bo Dallas In Action
Welcome to the WWE Main Event report for February 24, your commentary team will be Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton & R-Truth.
Sin Cara vs. Bo Dallas
The match begins with Cara catching Dallas with a roll up for a near fall, Dallas kicks Cara before dropping him with a punch. Cara recovers and he catches Dallas with an Angle Slam for a near fall, Cara attacks Dallas with a few leg kicks before getting dropped with a clothesline. Dallas then nails Cara with a rope assisted spinning neck breaker for another near fall, Dallas picks up Cara and quickly drops him with a short arm clothesline. Dallas slows things down by holding Cara in the chin lock, Dallas releases the hold so he can simply stomp away on Cara. Dallas places Cara on the top rope before getting kicked in the face, Cara then catches Dallas with a missile drop kick.
Cara nails Dallas with a series of strikes before landing a springboard high cross body, Cara then hits Dallas with a springboard back elbow strike followed by a head scissors takedown. Cara follows that up with a springboard moonsault on Dallas for a near fall, Cara then sends a charging Dallas out of the ring. Cara then nails Dallas with a running swanton bomb on the arena floor, Cara throws Dallas back into the ring before going to the top rope. Cara catches Dallas with a high cross body and Dallas rolls through while holding the tights to get a three count.
Winner: Bo Dallas
We get a highlight package showcasing Kevin Owens attacking Chris Jericho during the Festival Of Friendship.
Our first Raw Flashback shows WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens sitting in the ring while talking about his upcoming match with Goldberg.
The next Raw Flashback shows Michael Cole interviewing Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar about Lesnar’s match with Goldberg at WWE Wrestlemania 33.
TJ Perkins & Cedric Alexander vs. Noam Dar & Tony Nese
The match begins with Nese showing his power by shoving Perkins across the ring, Perkins then locks Nese in a headlock. Nese breaks free and he drops a charging Perkins with a shoulder block, Perkins recovers and drops a charging Nese with a jumping spin kick. Perkins catches Nese with a jumping arm bar and Dar breaks that up, Alexander hits the ring and he knocks Dar out of the ring. Perkins gets up and he uses a gut buster to knock Nese out of the ring as we go to commercial break, we return from the break to see Perkins nail Dar with a few drop kicks. Perkins wraps up Dar before pulling on his arm, Nese distracts Perkins before kicking him right in the spine while Dar had the ref’s attention.
Nese tags in and he kicks Perkins right in the midsection, Nese then decides to just slam Perkins before applying the body scissors. Perkins fights back and he nails Nese with a double under hook gut buster, Alexander and Dar get the tags from their respective partners. Alexander quickly drops Dar with a punch followed by a handspring enzaguri, Alexander sets up for a move and Nese distracts him. Alexander kicks Nese away and he goes for a springboard move, Dar catches the airborne Alexander to lock him in an arm bar. Perkins breaks it up before sending an interfering Nese to the arena floor, Perkins then hits Nese with a suicide dive. Alexander nails Dar with the Lumbar Check to get the three count.
Winners: TJ Perkins & Cedric Alexander
The final Raw Flashback shows Braun Strowman beating the Big Show, then having a physical altercation with Roman Reigns.
