New NXT Women’s Champion Crowned At NXT Halloween Havoc 2021
Raquel Gonzalez’s reign atop the NXT Women’s Division has come to an end.
On the October 12 episode of NXT 2.0, Mandy Rose came to the ring and said that she left last week’s show feeling unsatisfied after an unsuccessful attack on Raquel Gonzalez. Mandy expressed her desire to have gold around her waist. Raquel accepted her Championship challenge, but on the condition that they Spin the Wheel to Make the Deal.
Gonzalez drove into Halloween Havoc on a motorcycle, spun the wheel, and landed on Chucky’s Choice. The special guest announced that the title would be defended in a Trick or Street Fight.
Raquel and Mandy had a physical match that saw kendo sticks, fire extinguishers, steel steps, and more introduced. The match came to an end when a hooded figure hit Raquel in the back with a shovel. This allowed Mandy to hit a knee strike for the pin and win.
Mandy Rose is the new NXT Women’s Champion. This is her first title victory in WWE/NXT.
After the bell, the masked person revealed themselves to be a returning Dakota Kai. She hasn’t fought on NXT television since losing a Championship match against her one time friend at TakeOver 36 in August.
