NJPW World Hit Over 115,000 Subscribers To Start 2021
A look at NJPW business.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and EvanDeadlySinsW put together data on NJPW business that reports the company had a net income “of about $60,000” from August 2020 to June 2021. The revenue is less clear, but the Bushiroad sports division, which consists of NJPW and STARDOM, reported a revenue of about $40 million.
NJPW reported 116,000 subscribers for NJPW World as of January 2021. It was previously noted by Bushiroad President Takaai Kidani that STARDOM World had nearly 10,000 subscribers.
Though attendance has been limited due to COVID, NJPW has run more events during the pandemic to offset the loss.
Revenue is less clear. NJPW stopped publishing that number on its official website after 2019.

New Japan hasn’t run an event at full capacity in Japan since Feb 2020.
